Poem -

Rhyme Time

Second, minute, hour, day, week,

wasted time is not what I seek.

It goes by slow, yet oh so fast,

why cant we make time last?

Tomorrow seems so far away,

yet not as far as yesterday.

If time was money, I would save it all,

do anything to make it stall.

I look back to my yesteryears

and realize time is my worst fear.

Why are we always in a hurry?

why not relax, and never worry?

I wonder what time has in store,

whats behind times secret door.

How much time do I really have left?

Can I steal some more, and be charged
with theft?

If I could I would give mine away,

to the people who need just one more
day.

Once its gone, its gone for good,

so always use it like you should.

One day I will look back and see

all that wasted time was not good for
me.

So today tomorrow and the rest of my
days,

time will be one thing I praise.
