ricochet of nightmare's
He reads her demons
bedtime stories
about love
and endless sleep
safe amongst the shadows
Of him
Her sorrow's
amongst the sheep
She used to wake
from horrific scenes
ricochet of nightmare's
Within her screams
Echoing the halls
Across empty walls
coldest alone
Until you,
You woke her
For the first time
Alive in reality
Dreaming,
beautiful dreams awake
For you hold
the breath of her life
Within your sheltering hands
And led her towards
the beauty within the light
only the darkness understands.
