Riding an ice-block

Riding an ice-block

I,m riding on an ice-block,
From melting climate change,
Far now from the ice-shelf,
I'm drifting out of range.
That polar bear that missed me,
I wont be his morning snack,
He will probably have to fast,
'Till the sea ice comes on back.
Scientists in the know,
Have warned the world for years,
But politicians hold out on funding,
Denying climate fears.
So I'm riding on this ice-block,
That is melting day by day,
Hopeing it is not to late,
For man to change his way.
