Right Now (2008)

I wonder who decided years ago to live here in this town,

Not saying it’s a bad thing, but what made you settle here?

We seem to accept that’s just how it is,

I want to know how you felt, did you get the fear?

Who in our past thought, this is the place for me,

Where were they from and who made “that” final choice?

The thought never crossed their mind, in a future time,

Years on down the line, would love to hear your voice.

 Some things in life are final, out with your control,

You were born into a world, seems its destiny.

Your world is what you make it; this is what I know,

Where you are right now, is where you’re meant to be!!!

Some people that are close, just can’t wait to fly,

Head off round the world, want to see it all.

Others are content, happy with their life,

Distant lands will never call.

I think it’s something in each of us; it comes from the soul,

A fire that burns deep, honesty of the heart.

Only u control your path in life,

Keep” just existing” and” living life” apart.

If you are unsure, doubt the message in this work,

Let me open the world’s eyes, the blind will even see.

The example I give you now, shows my words have substance,

It’s my pleasure to introduce you all, Scott Robertson and his wife Lee.

It’s a story you won’t believe, America can’t make it up,

Just two little people that were meant to be.

It took more than just blind fate, a few hurdles in the way,

Stay true to what you feel is right, happiness is the key.
