The Right-Side of the sky

Darkness crosses over me
To where I don't belong
Gravity pulls me down to earth
To where I don't belong

Just walking around
In this dark disgrace
Will you be by my side
In the dark of night
Would you hold my hand and carry me
To the right-side of the sky
Lead me to the places that would always pass me by

Can the light cross over me
And show that I belong
Would the sea get any deeper
That I could drown myself inside
Could the trees get any taller
So I could climb away up high
Will the right-side of the sky
Hold me forever when I die

Will the grass get any greener
Every time I turn a year
And when the heavens finally open up
Will the right-side let me in
