RIP KIRSTY MACCOLL

Kirsty would have been sixty today 
A boating tragedy unfortunately got in the way 
Deprived the world of a fantastic voice
Let's pay her a tribute and rejoice 

Everyone knows her for that fairytale song
If you think that's all she's done you would be wrong 
Her version of Days is simply sublime
My favourite of hers which I play all the time

There is of course A New England too 
Something to check out if I were you 
Kirsty MacColl will live on forever more
