Ripples

all around
the world bleats and calls
even the mountains
are deafened, subdued
trying to rise
as high as they're able
away, high away
to disable it all

even the oceans
roll backwards and outwards
dragging their ripples
away out... away
while the winds blow high grasses
as if trying to save them
knowing here
there's no peace
to be found in a day
