~ River Of Love's Offering ~
In the gentle lighting
Of the human mind
The stage is set
For the antediluvian
Patriarchs
To speak.....
They speak
Of the creeks and rivers
Wearing away
At the smooth surfaces
That allow for personal pressures
To justify the succumbing
To thousands of years
Of spiritual waves
Crashing and splashing
Consistently
Unrelentingly
Upon the baptizer's shores
Of those holy grounds
And watery rituals
Promising
That eternity's loving embrace
Is not death at all
But love's
Intricacies and surprises
Which call forth
The smiles
Of the truly
Passionate
Comprehension
Of the unconditional
Love
Offered
By
The paraclete....
