Sad eyes find
The river’s edge
Finding few
Within its ledge
 
Many drift
From their safety
Plight the sift
Water the sieve
 
Banks of grim
Separation
Hope made dim
Life’s sensation
 
Here I post
My lost my gain
With this host
vigil remain
 
That taken
But was stolen
I'm shaken
Ever standing
