Been A Long Winter

Oh how I wish that Spring was here
 Birds chirping early mornings
And the skies so clear

Its the best time of year
Of that I am sure
Tho I start to get hay fever
& there really is no cure

Well we all have a nuisance
& a cross to bare
But if the weather would improve
Then I really wouldnt care

So I’m hoping when this month of March does past
The snow will dissapear,
It will be gone at last!!

We can all pack away our wintery clothes
& hunt out our shorts & shades
Coz we will surely need those?

so when the buds are on the trees
& the daffodils bloom
The season will move on
& tis Summer that will loom

I just pray that these months 
will eke & last
But I know that they won’t
Winter will return so fast ?
