“Romeo, Romeo, Where for art thou Romeo? 💙

She was only thirteen full of fresh innocence and curiosity .. “ Oh my romantic Romeo you mean the whole wide world to me”
As her cries could be heard amidst the twighlight haze and her slender silhouette meanders thru the moonlight rays .. clandestinely cloaked betwixt her rich, red velvet hood, she hides her tormented, tearful, meloncholy mood..
Wandering wishfully high within the tall tower, Juliet’s eager eyes hangon hopefully for hours and hours.. for just one fleeting glimpse from her long, lost lover, as yon sorrowful sobs snivel below the cold, cloud cover .. then suddenly she hears a “Sshhhh” down below and a whistle in the wind can that be her beau?. “Oh Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?” her heart is beating with hastened gusto .. “Be patient, for the world is broad and wide” .. Juliet listens to his lament as woeful whispers cried...

I was about to cry foul! and then I was about to cry. Nice write! We had to memorize that one in school, but it has served me well." What light through yonder window breaks? it is the east, and Juliet is the sun, arise fair sun and kill the envious moon" well you know. fun stuff! I was all about baseball back then and never dreamed of trying my hand at poetry, or reading Shakespeare !lol! Still not too sure about it lol!
Jillspeare,
That was really beautiful. You never cease to amaze me(except when you write sunce. LOL!). Now you're writing Shakesperean-esque memoirs. Awesome.
We should have a contest in which we write about yaks, but the style must be Shakesperean, and must include the words 'yon', 'shrew', and 'sunce'. What do you think?
I loved that.
Mattspeare.
Nooooo not sunce lol xxx Ty my lovely ❤️💙❤️
LOL!
I've begun a poem called A Yak Named Sunce. It's about a yak, named Sunce, who longs to be a shrew, but does not know what one is! He walks around saying 'yon' a lot, but does not know what that means either. In the exciting climax, a shrew, named Yon, makes fun of his name, Sunce, and he goes ballistic, and steps on some ants! He is so remorseful of his heinous act, that he is not able to finish his second helping of flapjacks from IHOP, and the chef is angered, and screams the last line: 'Where for art thou yon, Sunce??!! You shrew!!, as the curtain falls. It's a musical, but without any instruments, or voices. Please 'like' it when I finish it. Thanks, M.
