Roses

“Above All” collection

Roses

Darkness has fallen,
Down the deserted town,
When the roses appear,
Beneath the glorious crown.

Long-stemmed red,
Isolated from reality,
Inevitable to the roaring wind,
Gentle to the moonlight.

Exquisite in their scent,
Spreading across the land,
Attracts nearby passengers,
Into the wildest dreams.

Slowly, they bloom,
Unnoticed by the restless waves,
Uncared by the frantic world,
But still, they stand.

Red and creamy,
The petals suddenly fall.
The end of a lifetime.
Too soon to endure.

The sun rises,
Behind the greenish hills,
Marking a new day,
While the roses depart.

Its phrasing like this that really builds your theme and reinforce the feeling you are trying to create. Very cleverly and decisively structured! Pinned! Kudos my friend. TFOTS
