ROUGH STREET

I live on Rough Street and boy is it rough
No good for weaklings or if you ain't tough
Every day there is some terrible crime
Most of the residents have served time

Murders and muggings are the norm
People start fires just to get warm
Why oh why should these things take place
It's really upsetting and an utter disgrace

My windows have been broken five times now
I have been spat at swore at and called a cow
If you want my advice stay clear of Rough Street
Should you end up here make a hasty retreat
