Ruby's in the Rain.

He came rushing threw my sheltered life,
riding the back winds of insanity like a mad man.
He stormed my impervious hazel-nut
until it cracked and I spun around
lost in his viscous whirl wind;
this somehow made me laugh.
He shot me straight over the horizon,
and let me land among the stars of Orion's belt.
I'd never been so far from home, so far from safety;
I hastily shifted'd my feet but his eye's kept taunting me.
I saw him peeking threw the hue'd cosmic dust,
waiting, waiting, waiting, but what was he waiting for?
I hung somewhere in the balance of fear and freedom;
pulled from the safety of my home,
but I've never seen something so beautiful.
I reached my feeble hands out for him;
he had rocks as hands and a sphere of fire burning in his chest.
His breath was summers humidity and his eyes where ruby's in the rain.
We danced among the stars,
I forgot my home, my prison, my fears.
I hope he never brings me back.

Hello Samantha,
Very deep poem from a far, yet distant in her heart place, for a love that spun his weight in gold through the threadlings of her, (caught up in), embellished and love struck heart felt bliss....Rubies, just as diamonds, always to be found, in its birthplace, the brightest of our sunny skies,and the luminous ambients of the moon, in our love struck lives....Very Enchanting....
Kind regards
Jim
