Ruin

Ruined castle on the hill
Walk inside you will get a thrill
The light casts an unearthly glow
Then you find out what the locals know
Don't go in after dusk unless you need to
Because the spirits want someone to cling to
Playing games on oakwood floors
Slamming shut toughened doors
You are the sacrifice they chose
You being there no-one knows
The locals realize your fate
You are nothing but bait
For their little hamlet to be left alone
You really should have stayed at home
Now to the underworld you will travel
A missing person case that will unravel
A devils nest you are in
Now your life is consigned to the bin.
