When there seems no end to urban sprawl or clutter,
I head out into a rural idyll to feel one with nature !
In this place a mind is at peace, being free of worry.
You are assured I do not seek the rat race in a hurry.

It is amazing how mood can change with a location !
Countryside lifestyle releases me from consternation.
City hordes raise the sense of desolate worthlessness.
In woodland and fields I am overcome by happiness !

I know the neon lights are where everything happens,
But it is in a tranquility where my heart truly opens !
I always feel closer to creation in blessed wilderness.
Of a scurrying metropolis, I really could not care less.
