I get a rush off being tired all the time

I get a rush off being jealous

I get a rush off politicians

And all the lies they tell us

I get a rush off being broke all the time

I get a rush off being sick

I can even get a rush off Rush Limbaugh

And that’s cuz he’s a dick

I get a rush off never getting laid

I get a rush off inflation

In America, we don’t practice celibacy

But involuntary sexual deprivation

I get rush off oil war

I get a rush off bums

I get a rush off getting lost

And dancing through the slums

I get a rush off fear and doubt

And sometimes being hated

A rush I get from those who brake

The laws which they instated

But the biggest rush of all I get

So great that words can’t speak

I keep inside, and give a glimpse

To those who wish to peek

So if, by chance, you get a glimpse

Of this my cosmic rush
