Keep time

I run the stop signs

Upper-middle-class
Neighborhood,
I can find...
I run over
Crossing guard
Ladies,
Press the petal to the metal
Just,
Barely missing
Small children...
Their strollers with
Diapers,
Flying by my
Tinted windows,
With
Parking stickers reading,
Beware!!
"Baby On Board"...
And so I compare,
The song
Playing on the radio,
To the highlights
In my hair,
And there simply is
No compare...
For,
The worries of my day
Are simply,
Much more important
Than Little jimmy's
Daycare,
Or Tiny Tina's
Terrible two's..
For
Christ's sake!!
It's
Rush Hour,
And nothing else
Matters,
When
I have,
An extreme appointment,
To refashion,
My hair...

Love this too, though I do not have to fight my way through city rush hours everyday, living in an outback corner of The Netherlands whete the only obstacles in my hurry to the next phonecall are slow farmer tractors on their way to harvest our food
