Russell's Lament

Fatigue, weariness you could not imagine.
Just staying awake is an exhausing exertion.
Disease attacking and destroying my liver.
Arterial chemoembolisation is making me shiver.

Illness is part of life; so, I remain positive; I fight on.
Family and friends offer comfort and support. My consolation.
With you all willing me to live, I will succeed.
Goodbye cancer. Fuck off Hep.C! Neither of you do I need.

Here it is, this is Russell's lament. I'm a miserable, moaning old git.
But, I know you will realise, I do this to try and get fit.
So once again, I may enjoy life; albeit a farce.
To spend time with you all, and be a right pain in the arse.
