Like 1 Pin it 0They put him in a grave
Shovelled brown dust on top
Said goodbye to whom they could not save
The day he would not stop
As he walked towards the noose
Thrown upon the rafters
No one will cut him loose
Goodbyes and ever afters
Affixiation is the cause
What is done is now done
Death has raised its ugly claws
At the setting of the sun
This is the story of many
We have lost brothers and sons, fathers too
Looking at the cause of all and anyRemains a duty to do
Each day of men who die
Silently within their souls
It is surely time to ask why
These ghosts and monster tolls
If you know a man
Sitting on the edge
Do what you can
So he don't fall off the ledge
The day they put him in a grave
Shovelled the dust on top
Was the day to try and save
A suicide to prevent and stop
