Sacred Songs
In the wee hours of the morning, there is music I listen to;
It’s the soundscapes of the “New Age”, that remind me so of you!
Ever since you were a puppy, we held and heard them play;
They relaxed us and we’d meditate, in the dawn of every day!
You’d lay beside me and I’d stroke you, then you’d gently fall asleep;
I’d soon follow you to dreamland, in slumber very deep!
We’d wake up and we’d cuddle, our minds complete at ease;
Idyllic times of our souls bonding, the love of birds and bees!
But these sacred songs when they play now, I listen without you;
For I lost my little soulmate, the one I love so true!
Some I use as your cherished mantras, at your shrine you so adorn;
I touch your remnants and your ashes, as daily there I mourn!

Our Dear Debs,
Oft times, the music of our hearts is the gateway to our souls. It evokes beautiful memories that we can cherish forever. Thank you for always being so "in tune with my poetry".
Hugs, Peace and Love,
xox Larry and Linda
This is gorgeous my Larry, and it crushes me to know how hurt you are, I just want to be there with you. My Andrew was a huge Liverpool football supporter and we always watched all the matches together. The one song that always makes me burst into tears when I listen to it is the Liverpool anthem `You`ll Never Walk Alone` by Gerry And The Pacemakers. It still makes me run out the room if it comes on the T.V. Andrew wanted his ashes spread over the Liverpool stadium pitch and they kindly let us do it on his first anniversary of his death and the anthem played quietly while we were there. The strange thing was that the office was locked and all the staff were with us on the pitch and when the music started they all went as white as a sheet and were shocked because there was nobody there to switch it on and they told us that they never play it unless there is a match on!! So Andrew was there with us and getting up to his little tricks again. The one thing that upsets me is his wife wouldn`t let me keep a little bit of his ashes and I find that hard to forgive!
Well done for a wonderful piece and give my love to Cody
I love you very much

Our Dearest G,
Every time I write about my excruciating pain of having lost Nico, you are always on my mind too, Because I know that we share the same heartache. It is almost as if I'm writing these elegies for both of us. It is amazing how a certain song can evoke instant tears. In your case, it is the beautiful song written by American composers Rogers and Hammerstein, for their 1945 musical, "Carousel". Then it was recorded by Gerry and The Pacemakers, and adopted by the Liverpool football team as their anthem. Further, it is a sign from Heaven that the song started playing when all the staff was with you on the pitch. Some things are beyond any metaphysical explanations, and are messages from our loved ones in Paradise. As for your daughter-in-law, shame on her for not letting you keep some of your beloved Andrew's ashes.
We love you both,
Linda, Larry and Little Cody
