Poem -

Sanctuary in you.

I've longed for you my love for such a long time, I've battled the dark with passionate rhyme,

spoke words to the gods, and the guardians of age, wished on starlight for a peace,  no rage,

collecting trinkets like a moody muse, only to watch the fire burning my core, elevation of the fuse,

I've had dreams crushed and broken down,  wore my beanie like a crown,

only to dance with a hurricane in the desert storm, and found my island, comfortable and warm,

home was the becoming of you and your place, I cannot reconcile love without your face,

I need you like the audience at a summer fair,

without you near I'm treading on air, moving but unable to fly,

there's a sanctuary in you and I know why,  our love is emmortal, it won't ever die.
