SAND

SAND

These little grains
that nobody can count
covers so much earth
creating many a mount

Children love it for play
especially by the sea
but in a great desert
water’s rarely found to be

God used sand to tell
what would be Abraham’s seed
a number no man can count
for God alone knows indeed

Next time we see sand
think on it’s worth
how many life’s it touched
through life from birth
