Poem -

Santas been & gone ?

Well I’ve taken some of decorations down
I must say it looks bare
Though my Christmas tree
& cards still up
They have one more day to spare

Its not a job I look forward to
A very arduous task
But I’m afraid there are no helpers
No one I can ask

So as usual I will soldier on
Removing festive decor bit by bit
When the New Year comes in
I will be rid of them, that will be it

I love it looking Christmassy
Ready for Santa to call
But when he has been & gone away
I don’t like decorations up at all

If only my new Alexa could give me a willing hand
Haha I’d just watch her sort out the lot
I would just sit & give command

But alas shes only a little gadget
With a sexy womans voice
Ah well I’ll have to get on with it
I really have no choiceΒ
