Poem -

satin's black arm

A sliver of moon
Sleeps in satin's black arm
Oh and beauty you are
You know well of your charm
To a soul such as me
Who stares out into night
Trying out keys
For an answer that's right

But all keyholes prove rusty
Or sealed up real tight
And should answers exist
They are not for the likes

Of myself, for I'm minisculeĀ
Trapped on a rock
Spinning and helpless
Before someone'sĀ flock ofĀ

great gods,

M ~
