Satisfaction

Satisfaction

Are you satisfied with what you have?
The food you eat, and clothes on back?
Do you wish to increase your worldly things?
This is what weighs down when gained.

Is it wrong to then desire an abundant life?
Goodness of treasures that will suffice?
It's really simple in the eyes of Christ,
Which are riches from above in paradise.

A day will come where objects dissolve,
With one realizing the emptiness of all,
But then what a joy to those who labored,
The finest gifts from God that shows favor.
