I couldn't stand,

Now unfortunately left alone,
To figure out how to set yourself free.
I've always aimed to please,
But compassion somehow,
Withered with patience,
Into the breeze.
How do you feel now?
Sweat glistening from your brow,
Speechless in quest,
For that elusive buried treasure,
Digging deep,
Brought fourth from within,
A self satisfying pleasure.
And as useless as I am now to you,
Love latching parasites that grew,
Changing selfishness,
Of I always taking care of me,
No longer a squirrel after a nut,
Lets rephrase what I said earlier,
I'm trying towards aiming to please.
