Saturn's Resolve

How is it possible to miss someone you never knew?
As Saturn devours me I remember the moment I was born.
Grasping desperately to my past life and the fading memories being torn.
Seeing every possibility of what I could've been.
Any chance at love stolen.
Swallowing every collapsed ambition.
I was never your end father I was simply a continuation.
So I'll push through every feeling below and every thought from above.
Flying with waxed wings under this cruel sun.
Mind, body and soul consumed and dying.
Your resolve is your own, as was I.
And we'll both return to the soil we grew from.
It's tragic how neither of us will ever feel truly alive.
The theft of my entire being and the disrespect of my mother's eyes.
Saturn, lay us both to rest.
As you gifted me nothing but a brief glimpse at life.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.
No love lost.
No love left.
