Poem -

SAVE YOU A SEAT IN PARADISE

If I get to paradise before you I'll save you a seat
It's clear to me we're not so good on our feet
We've had good lives but can't go on much longer
Our bodies weak I'm afraid and not so stronger

My mind is going too I can't remember a thing
Counting down the days and the sadness it bring
We exchange stories of the things we have done
A lifetime of memories both hard times and fun

I will save you that seat once paradise is found
Not sure if it's in the sky or here on the ground
Nothing lasts forever but we've had a good knock
You've been my glue and I've been your rock
