Poem -

Savior

You always said I saved you.
I never understood how.
I always figured YOU saved ME.
But oh boy I didn't realize.
You poor man never did laundry.
You didn't have sheets or a bed.
You didn't care about your schedule.
You never folded your clothes and put them away.
You never had someone to care for you.
You never had someone support you.
You never had someone be jealous.
As much as you saved me I saved you.
A perfect fit in a cabinet full of dishes.
That is the love I've wanted.
