The Savior Within

Where do I get the strength to survive

When I'm feeling lost who helps me to thrive

Where can I turn when my minds in a spin

When I need to refresh where should I begin

What can I do when old feelings come back

When all colors around me seem to be black

Like a long twisting road that has no end

When I only look happy but it's really pretend

It's in moments like these that I need to find

Some genuine shelter to ease my mind

To help me fight through those feelings of gloom

When the walls are caving in all around the room

It's in those moments of need when I need a friend

Who's comfort is true with a message to send

Who wants to tell me you are not alone

Build your hope around me I'm your cornerstone

I live in your heart so I'm always there

I tell you this to make you aware

That you are not alone no matter the time

When your life seems to have no rhythm or rhyme

Just look deep within that's where you'll find me

I'm the one they nailed to that cross like tree

I could have saved myself from that horrible fate

But I did it for you now see how you rate

So don't let yourself dwell on this world today

For soon I'll be back to take you away

But for now when your attitude needs a new start
