Say My Prayers

I say my prayers, every night,

for every thing to be all right –

I say my thanks and ask for things,

so much that the good Lord brings –

I pray for friends, guidance and love,

I know he’s listening from above –

I ask for forgiveness, when I’ve been bad,

I talk to the Lord, when I am sad –

I take the time to show I care,

and thank the Lord, for being there –

I look for answers and some times I find,

he knows what I’m thinking, he’s reading my mind –

I know he’s listening to all that I say,

watching over me closely, day after day –
