Saying Goodbye

To tell you that the loves lost hurts,

even though i dont want to let you go.

It's plain to see that even though i love you

it's not the same for you

so i say goodbye for the last time,

even though i want more time.

I wont hold you back for my selfish reasons

our love was lost with the past seasons.

The way you would hold me in your arms

made me feel so safe from harm,

But like everything in life

even our heartaches and strife,

everything must come to an end

and it's time to start to let my heart mend.

Through all these tears

I look at the past years,

I still love you like no other,

but its plain to see we aren't the same with each other.
