scared and alone

i had never seen fear before
but you showed it to me
now it's every where
they warned me i would fine it
but i never listened
i was too innocent
too trusting
not brave,just unaware.
the absence of fear allows happiness
and once the fear came
the happiness left
and with it my friends
you were my friend
and you did this
what will they do?
i'm thinking too hard now
about everything
i'm looking for protection
but i have none
so i hide from the world
