Scarlet Lies

Scarlet Lies

The way her crimson tinted lips poisoned my mind
The way her intoxicating smell clouded my senses 
The way her touch cleared my deepest turmoil
The way her eyes only spoke the truth
LIESS
But her lies are my truth
And her body is my gospel
For her I would steal the breath from any man
For her I would maim the kin of any woman 
I gave up my eyes so she may see
I gave up my legs so she may walk
I gave up my heart so she may live
I gave up my soul so she may
EXIST
Where am I ?
That's right, I no longer exist
So do not pry

Intriguing and disturbing.
That last line seems to close the matter just as it was getting very interesting...leaving the reader with so many unanswered (and unanswerable?) questions.

Well written and cleverly structured.
