The blood on the skittle in the parking lot  
Was the only clue the police so far had got 
The police searched hard for their next clue
It's the thing that scene of crime officers do  

I don't think I would like their job one bit  
Knowing a person maybe dead or hit 
It must be like a jigsaw puzzle putting the pieces together 
The scene of crime officers are both smart and clever
