Sea Of Faces

In a sea of faces
There go yours and mine
But for our past traces
We share as we find

As I take time to wave
Or listen to you
It's only what time gave
Is as Heaven's dew

Common prejudices
That make for woe's ill
Are but prerogatives
In freedom of will

My choice to over look
You, yours in doing
Me, and the time it took
While time keeps going

Some hide behind their mask
Others behind smiles
Tears those with harder tasks
Life is full of miles

Just who you are for sure
Simple moments clues
When you finish life's tour
It requires dues

The rippling hand shake
The testy gesture
Every thing that is fake
Makes weak your structure
