Sea Games

A sea heaves its burdens out
Into the crowd, a boy slurps
An ice creamÂ
A little too loud
Seagulls play sea games
Above all so high
God's hand stirs clouds around
Suns in the sky,
Remeber remember and wish
this scene well, remember t'was
yours once before the sun fell
When pallettes of summer would
Come out to play
When children with spades built
A glorious day
Look down from sand dunes and
Breathe deep salt air, wish
This day well try
To feel it, to care,
Crumble the sand feel
Its grains in your palm
Let it flow free, golden
Dust from your hand
Remember Remember to
Wish this day well, remember
T'was yours once
Before your sun fell...
