Seaside

I ran to feel your embrace and comfort but I fell at your knees instead. 
You tried picking me up to only push your kindness away knowing i did not deserve it. 
That cold , damp ground was my only friend now , knowing it was the only one i deserved. 
I curled up on the hard earth waiting for a sign that things would get better but i knew i was getting no where. 
I looked up to see if you were still there only to see that I waited to long and watched you blow away like sand. 
my hour glass finally ran out. 
i let your tiny grains of sand slip through my hands only to watch you fall in pieces then, the water came and just washed you away and i never saw you again. 
I sat seaside everyday waiting for you to come sailing back to me but all i saw were beautiful sunsets that i watched alone everyday until one day i got up and walk into that ocean never looking back , i wanted to be part of you once more.
