SECOND HAND ROSE

Throughout my city she was known as second hand Rose
Always bought cast offs when it came to clothes
Charity shops knew her by her first name
Rose didn't do luxury a terrible shame

Then one morning something caught Rose's eye
A pretty blue dress she happened to spy
The price tag said a fiver made Rose's day
At that price it was a steal and a giveaway

Rose tried it on it was a perfect fit
Another bargain and sure fire hit
All she needed now was a pair of shoes
No time to waste and no time to lose
