SECONDS, HOURS, DAYS

Another second ticks by as I look at my clock 
Time to digest and certainly time to take stock
Reflect on the time that has gone before 
Wonder what the future time has in store 

Another hour goes as I gaze as at my watch 
The working day done and time for a scotch
Time never stands still is a guaranteed fact 
No dramas no worries and everything in tact 

Another day gone and it's time for my bed 
Time to sleep and rest my weary looking head
Of course I know that while I sleep time still goes
Not my concern as my eyes shut and I doze
