Nothing to Say

     I didn’t quite know just what to say 
I knew that time would only wash my words away 
so I said nothing at all
     And then as I watched time go by
it just seemed to fly 
I had to get on the ball
     I never knew just what to say 
I know my words will only just fade 
so I say nothing at all
     And as I watch seconds tic away 
I’ll have nothing to say 
and that’s my song
