Secret Crush

I don't know how this poem is going to sound,
But i'll just have to wait and see,
Am willing to take a stand putting both feet on the ground,
And let the words of my heart speak for me.

My crush, a secret, my secret crush,
Which ever you'd prefer,
Look at me now writing with a blush,
The effects of thinking about her,
Day by day, night by night,
Trying to be perfect in her sight,
I don't know how to do it but am trying to do it right.

Wasn't sure she'd look my way,
Because guys like me are rare,
Would love for you to give me the time of day,
And show me a sign that you care.

Love an affair for two,
But this one its just me,
I wonder how loving me would appear to you,
If our love would ever be,
I believe in mermaids and even angels too,
And though i've never seen one,
I'd want her to look just like you.

My crush no longer a secret now everyone knows,
Her name i'll keep to myself for am not allowed to disclose,
Some people may have one some may have two,
But now I confess I have a crush on you.
