Poem -

Secunda

Grazed with graceful frost
These lands are moving
Slightly warm with my embers last breath
Eyes closed, feeling nothing but belonging

This is a song sung by surroundings of white
A traveler's melody
It was so cherished

The tears make my eyes sting in the ice air

In cold
Out warm
breath of one so lost but imagining her haven
Eyes open, the smoke has cleared

The safe haven is gone
The recollection, no more
What once was beauty
Is now war
