Poem -

SEEING AND HEARING

No human voices or songs from a bird
For him nothing could be heardĀ
No skies of blue or fields of greenĀ
For her nothing could be seenĀ

Every noise be it cheer or jeerĀ
For him he could hearĀ
Everything all around whatever it may be
For her she could see

The difference is so painfully clear
Sight and sound we should hold dear
I am thankful to have both of theseĀ
Ears that hear and eyes that sees
