Seeing Dawn

When the world is in danger of caving in,

When there seems no way I can ever win,

I turn to you asking for a settling remedy.

You listen and act bringing peace to me !

You are goodness and the prevailing light,

Choosing if necessary to force back night !

If in need, I wonder whether I'll see dawn.

I pray for enlightenment and hope is born !
