Poem -

Self resistance .

Have you seen them
My dignity and pride
Someone coaxed them
With lollies
Taking them for a ride
It's not their fault
You know
They've been hurt before
I couldn't get to them
Fast moving
The closing car door
Watching them drive away
Down the road
Fading into the distance
I hope they soon return
So i can teach them
Self resistance .
