Poem -

Selfish Humans

“Need some filtered water because you cannot drink from the tap?”
“Oh, I will run right over to the store to get some of that!”

Not really though, I will hop into my car,
Pollute the Earth on the way;
Without a care in the world,
For that is what they say.

I enjoy the sound of my car’s engine,
Powered by the fuels that will kill me one day;
Electric cars just do not feel the same,
To us humans anyway.

Care for others,
You are not the only living creature on this Earth;
The animals, plants, and humans all breathe the same air from day one.

’Tis not only the gas that cars release when you drive them around,
But the fuels  used to make them, it adds up by the pound.

The pollution is something,
And your personality is too;
Save them all from the greedy and selfish you.

Stay at home and drink water from the tap
I promise, only good things will come of that.
