Poem -

SEN18R

Freshman year I was a little girl with no dreams
I had no intentions of going to college
I told all my classmates that I was going to graduate and work at McDonalds
Now, I am a young woman who has blossomed
I no longer have dreams I have a plan
Achieving is no longer my goal it's my lifestyle, something I live by
Because of my status I had to make a sacrifice
I traded in my crown for a cap, but only momentarily
At the end of this final chapter I Will be launched off into reality
