SEPERATED BY A WALL

Seperated at the border at the age of three
Doesn't make any sense at all to me
Mummy left behind and I'm taken away
How can this be right I hear you say

A wall will divide us as we go our separate ways
Part of President Trump's latest craze
Other families are in the same position too
No time for a final hug and I love you

As a child of three I need Mummy for sure
How I want to see her again once more
I cry and I cry every single night
I want my Mummy to hold me tight

Great enlightening write and for pointing out the obvious as to why we need it...

A lot of people rent their children over and over again...

Having to make the journey with strangers and getting raped and 10 year old girls are tested for pregnancy...

If people could just go country to country then no one would need Passports and work Visa's...

Why make it easier for those who don't want to follow the laws?

Yet, many of us have to...

We'll go to jail and we won't be given a free place to live , Welfare, Good Stamps...

Those are programs legal Citizens have to go through all kinds of red tape to get and they keep you under the poverty level...

If we cross into a Country illegally we could be killed or imprisoned...

They sure wouldn't support us in the way they want us to support them...

Mexico is helping to stop them from entering...

People are crossing into Mexico too to try to get here...

Thank you for sharing the serious need here to protect people and children from a very real nightmare journey...

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...
